Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. After working as assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. She was noticed in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After just three short films MacGraw was named one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. She was a part of several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
